HARASSED FOR SHORT PAYING
I cannot believe that Truworths would have call centre call you numerous time because a short payment was made. Does Truworths not check the history of the customer. I short payed because i did not have my statement at hand and made an assumption on my installment. And whats even worse is that I made a payment - it wasnt a matter of total non payment. Absolutely disgusted.

However, when customers do not meet their full payment commitments, even for one month, we contact the customer as we are concerned that the account would incur additional interest for late payment charges, and this would reflect negatively at the credit bureaus.
This correspondence merely served as a reminder of the importance of bringing the account up to date with payment and that your credit worthiness is an asset.
