Handover

At Truworths please tell me how is it possible that a person doesn't pay for one month then you hand her over to attorneys. People have complained about your company previously but then I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but you have let me down I will settle it and you will never see me at your store again. Worse part you have a nerve of sending me an e-mail saying that I should contact you on *** meanwhile this number belongs to MBD Attorneys, please be honest and fair to your customer do not lie to me and say that this are your contact knowing very well that it is not and it belongs to another company, do not use stupid tactics I have never said that I will not pay, I have been paying my acc all along and paying more than my monthly instalments.

Hello GontseEnough,

Thank you for your post and for the opportunity to clarify this matter for you.

According to our records this account was never officially handed over to an external collections agency. We acknowledge your frustration; however, they merely contacted you with regards to the status of your account.

Your account is reflecting in arrears because, as stated in your post, we did not receive the payment that was due by 05 March 2016. As a result, you were contacted as we concerned that the account will incur late payment fees and that your profile held with us and at the credit bureaus would be negatively affected.

We are sorry if you felt that our collections process was in any way offensive and not handled correctly. However, we would like to see your account brought up to date soonest so that you can once again enjoy all the benefits of being an account holder, and we hope that you may reconsider closing your account with us.

Kind regards,
Charmaine

Best regards,
