Handed to debt collectors and account not overdue
Huh?

First of all I have an account with the TFG group (Not Truworths) specifically, that is up to date and the credit limit has recently been increased.

Yesterday I get an SMS from VVM Debt collectors that if I pay R300 my balance of R734 could be settled (The values mentioned here are also correct)

I contacted VVM however they put the phone down in my ear when I tried to query why they are in possession of my confidential information on an account that is current and has never been overdue.

I want an answer on this from Truworths as this is very sneaky and unprofessional behaviour.
