Handed over to the VVM Dept collectors after arrangements in August 2016 - SHOCKING
<p>So after losing my job in July 2016 everything came crashing down. What do you do if you have bills to pay but NO income???? The only solution I had was to phone Truworths to make alternative arrangements to pay my account. After spending 7 minutes on the phone,we agreed that I will pay R200 into my account every month just to prevent them from taking me to the VVM Dept collectors.</p> <p> </p> <p>A month later a received a sms stating that they are taking me to the VVM??? So I went into a panic and I phoned them AGAIN. They made a note on the system,for the second time.... ONLY to receive a message this morning to say that my case has been handed over to the VVM????</p> <p> </p> <p>DIDNT WE HAVE A AGREEMENT????????? I am so dissapointed in the way they are handling the situation.</p>

Whilst we acknowledge that an arrangement was noted for your account in August 2016, the payments received were regrettably not sufficient to cover the full installments due. As a result, your account remained in an arrears status and is currently being handled by Van De Venter Mojapelo (VVM), on our behalf.
When an account reflects in arrears communication is generated in the form or letters, calls and SMS’s to inform you on the status of your account and to allow the opportunity for a further payment arrangement to be made, should your situation have changed.
We attempted to contact you in this regard, but regret that we were unable to reach you. We do however thank you for the payments made thus far and sincerely hope that your situation will improve.
