Handbag Handle Broken - No Assistance

Bought Daniel Hechter handbag and ****** Mary purse with my girlfriend. I paid cash but have lost my receipt. I phoned and explained that the purchase was made on 06/05/2017, after 18:00.

The manager advised that they will not be able to trace the purchase details.

I am convinced that no other similar purchase was made on this day and in that time period.

We are now stuck with an expensive (and supposedly good quality) handbag of which the handle is tearing loose.

Firstly, I can for the life of me not believe or understand how you cannot trace an individual transaction if the date and time is so specific…. To not even mention that all your purchases are scanned.

Secondly, we paid a lot of money for a branded handbag of which the quality is of such a nature that it is falling apart after 2 months.

Please advise soonest or I will share on Facebook and contact Daniel Hechter in France to let them know how the chain in South Africa dealing with their brand operates and refuses to assist.
