Get your facts straight!
I just keep paying and paying my Truworths account!!!!! I asked for copies of my statements from September 2014. My account is as follows:<br> Opening balance 771-20<br> Purchase 1895-00<br> Credit 475-00<br> Purchase 425-00<br> Credit 425-00<br> Purchase 450-00<br> Unknown charge ?? 1420-00<br> Interest 19-28<br> Unknown charge credited 1420-00<br> Payment 440-00<br> Payment 440-00<br> Purchase 550-00<br> Interest 35-35<br> Payment 500-00<br> Purchase 935-00<br> Credit 550-00<br> Purchase 450-00<br> Interest 39-11<br> Payment 400-00<br> Interest 33-68 <br> Payment 460-00<br> Interest 30-61<br> Annual service fee?????? 26-00<br> That leaves me owing R184-03<br> Do the maths<br> I will go in and pay the R184-03 and will close my account.<br> Makes me wonder how much extra I have paid over the 32 years that I have had my account!!!

Monthly statements were posted to you at the address on our records. As per your request, these were also faxed to you earlier this month. The monthly statement clearly displays the account balance, installment due, payment due date and the arrears amount, should this be the status of the account. The information given in your post does not show the correct opening balance and therefore the closing balance is also not correct.
