********** TRANSACTIONS ON MY NAME

Dear Truworths

I received on the 25th of July 2017, a Statement of account from you, Stating that I need to pay R838 not later than the 1st of August 2017. My account is in arrears with R4854.

I received a sms on the 29th of June 2017, asking if I would like to open a Truworths account, where i will get R1000 worth of vouchers. Reply with my initials and ID number.

...I received post from Truworths not long after, with a letter (dated 22 June 2017) and card attached. Not long after i received a store card from Identity (letter dated 1 July 2017), with a letter and card. Identity is part of the Truworths group if i am correct. Strange, was my 1st impression. But i left it at that.

ON BOTH LETTERS FROM THE DIFFERENT STORES IT STATED, FOR SECURITY REASONS PLEASE BRING YOUR ID WITH WHEN ACTIVATING THIS ACCOUNT FOR THE 1ST TIME. I never activateD any card.

Yesterday 25 July 2017, i received the statement of account via post. To much further amu*****t, 2 purchases was made on my name with the account number(Card number) on the 21st of June 2017.

Now here is the biggest amu*****t.

PURCHASES MADE 21 JUNE 2017

CARD/ LETTER ISSUED ON 22 JUNE 2017 & 1st of JULY 2017.

SMS RECEIVED TO APPLY FOR AN ACCOUNT 29 JUNE 2017.

How is it that everything is BACKWARDS?

I dont know how this accounts was activated and I sure hope you have a copy of ID of the person who activated these accounts as well as proof of signature on purchase receipts as its definitely not mine. This has to be an INSIDE JOB, because how can one buy on credit before a card was issued. Very suspicious!!!!

I did call Truworths last night on the 25th of July to report this matter, I was told to get an affadavit from the police as well as a certified copy of my ID and take it to the nearest store.

I am not going to go to any store to submit these document. Please send me contact details from your ***** department for me to submit these documents via email.

Please also make sure that any account with you guys with my details, be frozen and cancelled with immediate affect. And make sure that this ********** transactions will not end up on my credit rating(ITC).

Please make this an urgent priority as I will be contacting the credit Ombudsman with regards to this matter as well take to social media, if this is not sorted asap.

It has also come to my attention that i am not the only individual that this kind of ***** has happened over the past few years.

Thank you

Regards Mike
