********** Online Account applications approved by Truworths
Good Day
I would like to express my utter Disapointment towards Truworths the Company as a Group and their Privacy and Security procedures they have in place. I was contacted by one the of your Customer Service agents from your Head Office in Capetown on the 13/08/2018 advising me about a payment due on "My" account for the recent purchases that was made on the Account. To my suprise my details were confirmed and I advised the agent that I never opened an account at Truworths, and have lost my ID a few years ago. I would really like to know what kind security measures are followed when applying for an online account? As I'm now yet another victim of Online Account Applications. I need feedback URGENTLY from Truworths as to how I can proceed with the Cancellation/Blocking of this ********** Account and what measures the Company has in place in order to find the culprit/s??? Your Compnies lack of Security measures is causing a great risk to my Credit Profile with ITC Transunion.

Therefore when you alerted us of your suspicions that the account had been **********ly opened in your name, we requested that you provide the necessary documentation so that we could conduct a thorough investigation.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused as a result of this matter. Your concerns raised have now been escalated to our ***** Department, who is currently working urgently to resolve this matter for you. We furthermore confirm that you will be contacted as soon as the investigation has been concluded.
