********** Account opened in my name
On 28 Feb 2020 I received feedback that my loan application has been declined due to an outstanding account at Truworths. I immediatly made contact with Truworths to find out what is going on because I never opened an account with them. I spoke to there ***** department and was advised that I have too speak to Landau (Attorneys) because the account has been transfered to them. I phoned Landau and informed them that I was an victim of identity ***** because I did not open an account in 2018. They refered me back to Truworths because this is an ***** case. Again spoke to Truworths and was advised to send my ID and an Affidavit stating that I was not the one that opened this account. I did this on 28 Feb 2020. After numerous calls, my case was assigned to Nkosikhona in there ***** department. The constant feedback that I get is that they are waiting for the archive department to send him the documents. Time passed and everyday it was the same story from him. Until 09 March 2020 he advised that they have found my documents and his manager is attending to this. It is now 10 March 2020 and after numerous calls I still have no feedback, just the same story that they are busy with the case and he is waiting for authorisation. This is so simple to resolve, if there is no proof that the account was opened by me then the case is closed and clear my name. I even offered at one stage to pay the funds of R8000 pending the investigation and when the results of the investigation is in my favour they must repay me the funds because this is wasting my time and I can't proceed with my loan application due to this. Everyone must be very carefull of this company, because something is very fishy...
