I was handed over to vvm but still paying the account though in arrears. They have been withdrawing 300 every month.... Surprisingly on 28 October 2015 they withdrew extra R1020 from my account after I got a call from one of their accounts agents from head office.... I thought because she phoned then its settled only to find that the debit order continued even on 28 November 2015. Ever since the first debit I phoned them they said I must fax the proof because it was not appearing on their system. In the mean time vvm ppl fone me to say my account is in arrears and they also surprised about the debit order. I'm so disgusted to say that even now the balance of 1340 is still standing not settled..... I never expected such treatment from a company like truworths. I faxed the bank statement, I foned many calls, I went to the store, still with the proof no one has done anything so far..... Pls someone look into this and reverse the unnecessary charges from vvw and refund my change and close this account..... I'm so disgusted really stores ppl say head office in turn head office say stores pls do justice I can't stand going to the bank to reverse the debit orders all the time..... Stop!!
Thank you for your post.
Upon reviewing your account we can verify that the mentioned amount has not been allocated to your Truworths account. We have not found any record of a debit order payment arrangement for the amount of R1020.00.
Following your telephonic conversation with one of our collections agents on 15 December 2015, you agreed to forward a copy of your bank statement reflecting the debited amount in order for us to investigate. We have to date not received this.
We attempted to contact you in this regard, but were regretfully unsuccessful in our attempts. We have subsequently sent you an email and trust that this matter will be successfully resolved upon receipt of your reply.
