***** on Truworths account- more needs to he done to protect clients information

I was recently a victim of *****. Non of my cards or ID were lost. Nevertheless someone went into a Truworths store and apparently purchased on my account by just using my ID. This same person called the truworths customer centre, typed in my ID number and got all my account information. Scary but true. Retail stores do not do enough to protect their customers information. I was also told that Truworths will not go after the person who committed the ***** because they do not have the resources. They have video camera etc, if Truworths took ***** on customers accounts seriously I am certain they will find these people committing these activities. Truworths really needs to beef up their security with protecting customers information. ***** on customers account should also be taken seriously. Investigations should be done to find these people and hold them accountable so this will not happen to other people. It's sad because everyone is just so used to crime and *****. More needs to be done. Truworths, your customers trust you with their information, protect them.
