Flaking ****** Mary Jacket: ****** Mary lifespan 6 months, don't keep it for years unless you want flaking

Good morning, I am sending you this mail to express my disappointment with one of your products from the ****** Mary Range. A few years ago, my husband bought me a Jacket as a gift from the ****** Mary clothing range. I only wore this jacket during winter to preserve and prolong it’s “life” , and most importantly this jacket has sentimental values to me. Imagine my disappointment when I took the jacket out last week to wear to a funeral. I was horrified to see that it started flacking! I did not expect this from the clothing range ****** Mary as this is not a cheap brand, my expectation is that clothing from this brand will last years. I find it difficult to express how I really feel! I can forward you pictures of the Jacket should you request to see the flaking; at this stage it can’t even hang in my wardrobe because there is flakes all over the place. Truworths was kind enough to respond: Good day, Thank you for your email. In the event that an item may present a manufacturing fault within the first 6 months since the date of purchase, you're welcome to inform us thereof. Unfortunately the time frame has passed and we regret that we are unable to assist you. My response: So people if you want to buy good quality clothing which you want to wear and keep for a couple of years don't consider the ****** Mary Clothing Range. Rather spend your money on cheap clothing with no expectation of wearing it for years. Regards
