Fed UP
Dear Truworths
I am not sure which debt collection company you have handed my account to but they keep phoning on my work line.
Please note that I am not able to take calls on my office line and we have recieved warnings and emails regarding this.
As much as i know you need to get your money back, you wont if i am fired. Please bare this in mind. I spoke to a consultant on my cell and told him to phone after 4, he then asked me do I not take a lunch break and I said no, then he asked me if I am working this is all time consuming where as if he phones at 4 I can speak to him properly. After I cut the call there I get a call on my work phone?
Are you trying to get your money or get me fired. Trust that if I am fired, you will not get any money
We acknowledge your frustration regarding communications about the status of your Truworths account. We are sorry if you felt that our collections process was in any way offensive and not handled correctly, as it was certainly not our intention to cause you any unnecessary frustration.
However, when customers do not meet their payment commitments, additional charges are incurred and as a reminder, we send you communications to allow you an opportunity to bring your account up to date and ensure your credit record remains in good standard.
We can confirm that at Truworths we are fully compliant with the Debt Collectors Act 114 of 1998, which states that we may make telephone calls for the purpose of outstanding payment of a debt. We further verify that we have escalated your concerns raised to the relevant management to have your work contact number removed.
We trust that we were able to acceptably address your concerns, and if you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us on 021- *** or via email ***
Kind regards,
