I bought a phone from Truworths store in Benoni. Before I bought the phone I asked the lady that works by the phone department, if the phone was 4g ready and I was advise that the phone is 4g ready and to my surprise it was not4g ready and I return the phone and they took back, however, I am still being charged for the phone.

Cellphone returns are subject to the terms and conditions of the service provider, in this instance being MTN.
In the event that the device has a manufacturing defect and this is identified and communicated within the first 7 days from the date of purchase the complete unit with the box, accessories and packaging can be returned for a possible exchange on the same model or a refund subject to the device being assessed at a MTN Service and Repair Centre.
Upon liaising with the Store Manager, we were informed that on the day of your return, 27 August 2017, the cell phone presented no fault and was fully functional. We confirm that you were provided with feedback regarding the outcome to your query. We have also established that you have in the interim been contacted to go and collect the phone at the store.
We trust that we have adequately responded to your query, and that you would be able to accept our stance in this regard.
