Failure to correct incorrect billing account
Good day Truworths,

On the 26 of April 2015,I went to Truworths to pay my clothing account,I had a balance of R879.27 and payed R150 should have then brought my account to a less than R150.00 bringing it to R729.27 but when the till slip was printed, the lady who was moody assured me that it would reflect the next day, I kept the slips because I could see that I was being taken for a ride,

Ever since I have been getting untrue communication from Truworths saying that my last payment was in March and that is blatantly untrue, two weeks ago I sent Truworths an email with the attached proof of payment but they were still calling and sending me SMS's saying that my account is overdue, I was then forced to go to the Maponya Truworths branch on a Sunday and the guys that were helping told me that my matter would be resolved by Wednesday on the 20th of May 2015,to this day I am thoroughly exhausted of the constant call I have been getting from Truworths stating that my account is overdue when I have been paying well all this time.

I am not going to pay a cent more on the so called interest charged and I have had it with their *********** workers.

I would like this matter solved
Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention and affording us the opportunity to assist.
We have investigated your payment query of 26 April 2015 and established the following.
You presented your identity book to the consultant in store and when this was scanned, the system called up a Truworths account that you previously had with us.
The payment was credited to the afore-mentioned account instead of the active account.
To prevent this from happening again, please present your Truworths charge card when making purchases or payments. Having said this, we are pleased to confirm that payment has been transferred and reflect on your active Truworths account. Following our telephone discussion, we once again apologise for any inconvenience and frustration this has caused you.
Best regards,
Chevola
