Exploiting Customers

Have reported a phone that is freezing now i'm being charged for something i never asked them to be fixed.

This phone was bought 13 October 2018 , in November in Cobblestone Mall in truworths fitting rooms my phone was in the back pocket of my jeans it hid the wall of the fitting room lightly but unfortunately the back of my phone cracked i immediately reported it at the counter and the ladies said it can't be fixed because it was glass and i left it at that. but this year August 2019 the phone freezes i was not able to take calls or open the screen at all, and i never said to the lady it's because of the crack at the back . Now i get a quote over 1800 for the back of the phone that was not my fault in the first place and now ssscellular tells me my phone is out of warranty it's not even a year and my buying contract state that my warranty period is months.

i will not be liable for this payment they are exploiting customers i will not be cheated imagine i could buy a new phone with that amount

Please listen that is how Huawei made the phone is it my fault that the phone is glass at the back. they should have thought about it when the decided not to make the battery removeable . However I don't see the crack related to my issue with the phone freezing when I get calls or messages because that incident happened months ago.

They are having issues with their phones and it needs to be investigated, last week Saturday my sister's phone just died on her a P30 the battery was fully charged and it is only a month old.

This needs to be resolved or I will escalate it to the consumer act because this is nonsense I would further never ever advise someone to buy these phones.
