Expensive items for hogwash service!

Got gifts from my mother in law which she bought on her account. Some items are small and some I'd like to exchange. Went to both Earth Addict and Truworths with items still in bag with tags and slip but was told I cannot exchange without the card, told them it was gifts and the person is overseas now but that fell on deaf ears. For the price of your items one would expect decent treatment. Cant even understand why I cant exchange because with Edgars and Woolworths I can even exchange without a receipt but here I have the receipt but they could'nt care less. 30days is soon to be over but I guess that's what you want , don't see how you think your client base is going to expand with such appaling service whereas your competitors are excelling. You're chasing customers away, wake up!!!
