exchange item

To whom it may concern

I'm Neil George.i bought a pair of boots at one of your outlets in Parow on 2015/04/04
The day I bought the boots I noticed after I fitted it at on at home that the left side boot is killing my feet and the other side fits perfectly. ...so surly there is a rejected on it. ..
I then went to the shop where I bought it after 4 days and said? I want a bigger size instead. .
After 3 days they phoned me in saying they can not and will not exchange the boot, nor credit me for it. ..because they examen the shoe and won't be able to replace it for me. ..and that I should come to the store and collect the same shoe that I bought.
I've spoken to the store manager, which referred me to a lady who act as a team leader at the call centre. .and said she would sort this ordeal out and would call me or email me regarding this matter as she first have to speak to her superior which will take at least 3 days and get back to me ,up till today 2 months later ,no one called me and strangely I've already been billed for the boots. .
I've been very patients with this whole situation .its winter all ready I'm with out boots,
Hello neilwp1,

Truworths is very proud of its commitment to offering merchandise of superior quality and style. As a result, we were concerned to hear of experience and therefore conducted a full investigation regarding this matter.

We were regrettably unable to locate the call mentioned in your post. Our records however indicate that a formal complaint was logged by you on 05 May 2015, which was escalated to the Store Manager of our store mentioned in your post.

The pair of boots in question was assessed by both the Store and the Area Manager. Their findings are that the boots does not have a manufacturing fault and as it has been worn already, it cannot be exchanged for a bigger size.

As you are not happy with this decision, the boots will be sent to our Quality Assurance Department for further assessment.

Following our telephonic conversation, we trust that we were able to adequately attend to your concerns and are committed to providing you with feedback once the assessment has concluded.

Yours sincerely,

Lynn
