Electronic damage

I bought an inverter at ElectromannSA the one in four ways 3 months ago.The inverter got burned because of power failure,I took it back because it was still under warranty .They are refusing to fix it they say they don't cover municipality damage ,soo it means my R8500 is gone down the drain in 3 months.
