Duplicate Debits from my account.
Hi I made a payment of R200 to Clear Water Mall Truworths branch, I swiped my card at the point of sale and everything seemed fine. I never got no messages but when I looked at my statement I saw 2 unknown transactions of R200 each going on different days... I have been a victim of ***** before and this really made me stress and panic.. I called my bank and was holding on for long spending lots of airtime without getting through. I haven't received a message from Truworths apologising and saying it was an error. I had 2 take a day off at work and loose money just so that I could go to a bank and try and sort everything out! Truworths has really dissapointed me and I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years! I got into trouble for not making payments to people I owed, I lost a whole day salary and had 2 waste airtime and petrol to go to the bank and and it left me a panic attack and indescribable feeling of being helpless while my money was being deducted! I want Truworths to compensate me for the damages and terrible experience!
