DISGUSTED
I paid my account on the 11/1/2016. I got a message from my bank that the online banking is off. I immediately called Truworths to report this. I asked that they put a notice on my account. THEY DID NOT. Then I got a nasty phone call from their office saying I am in arrears. I HAVE THIS ACCOUNT FOR A WHILE NOW AND NEVER WAS I IN ARREARS. Actually I ALWAYS pay more than I should. I phoned in again and the person on the other end kept saying sorry for the inconvenience. Helloooooo FIX MY ACCOUNT. Today I received a email (the first from them since I opened my account) and it showed I AM IN ARREARS. I phoned in AGAIN and spoke to Lindiswe who promised me a supervisor will call me back. NOTHING!!! If this is the way they treat their good customers I DO NOT WANT TO BE PART OF THEM!!!!!?! I want my account fixed or else I will have to refer it to my lawyers.
Thank you for your post.
Upon reviewing your account we can confirm that your account went into arrears after no payment was received towards your installment due by 05 January 2016.
We acknowledge receipt of your call on 11 January and can verify that a note had been placed on your account to advise that payment was made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) on the day. Payments made via EFT only reflect after 3-5 working days.
This being said, the manner in which you were assisted during the calls mentioned in your post, is not in line with high service standards we strive to offer our customers. Following our telephonic conversation we apologize for your experience in this regard and have brought your service concerns to the attention of our Call Centre Management team to investigate and address.
We are pleased that we were able to satisfactorily attend to this matter for you and hope to see you in our stores again soon.
Kind regards,
Lynn
