Disgusted
I am deeply upset shocked and disgusted by the treatment I have received from Truworths SA. I have ALWAYS been an exemplary customer in all the years I have had my account with them and 4 months ago my husband lost his job. Up until last month I have been paying back my instalment and I owe the most pathetically small amount of money as I DO not run up my account and hardly ever use it. I have not stopped being harassed by sms, email and today a collections department when in fact my husband made a payment just recently and we have sent proof of payment and have made arrangements to settle this account at the end of this month. I have a father who is dying in hospital and today was the last straw. My husband EVEN wrote to Truworths last week and said we are going to tell all our family, friends and people we know about the ongoing harassment from your retail store. A friend who resides lives in the UK said that no-one is allowed to have to tolerate this kind of abuse over there and here I am a law abiding citizen who is absolutely shattered by your pathetic incompetence. Update your systems and leave me the hell alone! I will never purchase from your stores again..Disgusted!
We acknowledge your frustration regarding the collections communications that you have received from Truworths. We value your long-standing relationship with us and we want to assure you that our intention with sending arrears communication to you is in no way meant to upset you or cause you aggravation of any kind.
When payment due is not received by the stipulated due date, various means of correspondence is automatically generated as a reminder that your credit worthiness is an asset and that staying up to date with payments is an important part of managing your payment profile held with us and with the credit bureaus.
Following our telephonic conversation, we were saddened to hear that you no longer wish to purchase from our stores. We do however hope the attention afforded to your query has reassured you of your importance to our company and that you will reconsider your decision to close your account with us.
Yours sincerely,
Lynn
