Disgusted
Wasn't allowed in store because of only wearing a face shield & not a mask. My mask was plush on my face so does the same job as a mask. But manager refused to budge & was very rude about it.
Pathetic service to a paying customer

We acknowledge your frustration, however, we assure you that the strict protocols implemented by Truworths are in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidelines issued by Government. Specifically, Regulation 5 promulgated under the Disaster Management Act provides that a person must wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth in a public place. Also, the consolidated Directions on Occupational Health and Safety Measures in certain Workplaces expressly provides at section 43.6 that an employer must require members of the public to wear masks when inside their premises. There is no provision for visors as an alternative to masks in such circumstances.
