DISGRACE
I received a gift for a birthday which never fitted. When I took the gift back to get another size of the exact same item they said I needed the receipt. I called a family member to obtain the reciept and went back again. Upon presenting the item with the slip the *********** manager Joseph Radebe has a bad attitude and is not willing to explain or assist but instead tells me that I can't use my freedom of speech in his shop nor will he help me as I must phone the call centre. Ref number

Truworths will gladly return or exchange garments returned within 30 days from the date of purchase provided that a valid proof of purchase is presented and the garment meets the requirements as stated in our returns policy.
With this being said, the service described in your post is not an indication of the type of service we wish to offer our customers and we therefore deemed it necessary to escalate this matter to the relevant Area Manager. She informed us that the Store Manager in question could not accept the return as the item was purchased more than 30 days ago. We believe that she has been in contact with you and has satisfactorily addressed your concerns.
