Disappointing service
<p>Truworths Sandton. </p> <p>Disappointed with the service recieved from Truworths Sandton branch: stood in the queue (with no more than 4 people in front of me) for a very long time. Then Tried buying a few items on my account and attempted to use my drivers license as identification becauseI didn't have my card, to which the teller told me had expired. All good and well, I understood, I then asked her if I could get my temporary license in my car to which she responded yes and she then keeps the items for me. I then walk allllll the way to the car to go get my temp license, upon returning theres a very long queue, i go directly to the cashier that helped me a while ago and she tells me that I have to go stand in the back of the queue AGAIN. All good and well I go. And then after almost two hours of all this admin I get to the cashier and she's like: "Oh sorry, we don't accept temp licenses as ID"</p> <p>To which I react: Wow!!</p>

Whilst we acknowledge that, for security purposes, we do not allow any purchases on an account using expired or temporary documents, we were concerned to read that you were misinformed by our consultant in this regard and truly apologize for the manner in which you were assisted.
We have therefore escalated your concerns to the manager of the store referred to in your post to address this matter with the consultant in question and to have the appropriate action taken to ensure that this incident is not repeated. We were informed that she has contacted you to discuss this matter and has apologized on behalf of the store.
We once again sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration caused to you and trust that we have adequately responded to your query.
