Disappointed in the product

I bought a Watch from Truworths Online Store in November, however I didn't open it immediately so when I wanted to use it in January. I found it wasn't working so I thought it maybe it was the Battery. So went to a Watch making Shop to buy a Battery but I was told that there is something wrong with the Watch instead. I then took it back to Truworths store in Lakeside Mall but they didn't want to assist me because I don't have the Original packaging anymore. I am very disappointed because now I to get the Watch fixed myself while I also had to pay for an Item that was faulty from the start.
