Disappointed at Sandton City Truworths

Absolutely disappointing service with online order. I have a big gripe - I bought online because I thought it would be easier to just pick up in store.

1. A few days after ordering, I got a notification that they didn’t have 1 item in stock and they will do a refund. At this point I’m already annoyed cause I buy online to avoid “no stock” issues. Okay we move.

2. Received an sms that my order is ready. Went to the store immediately only to wait almost 45 minutes for 4 items that came one by one from the back store room.

3. There is no one working at the stores preparing the online orders for when customers arrive. The cashiers have to go to the back and go find your items (hence 45minutes). The reason is that the delivery guys come from different stores and dump singular items - no one is there arranging the items for your pickup. It will be done while you wait.

3. This company made R20billion last year, you’re telling me you can’t get high school kids who can work at the back getting orders ready for customers BEFORE sending a useless sms to say it’s ready for pickup? I ended up forgetting my ID cause I desperately wanted to leave after I got the last item.

4. My grandmother loves this store - that’s why I buy from here, unfortunately I’m letting go. Too much of a headache when at Woolies/Zara etc the online orders are ready for you when you arrive, all together and not in 1 piece fashion.

Very sad and very disappointed, considering these are not free items that I am waiting pick up. They are bought with hard earned money.

Please respect your customers, once they have paid and you have advised them to come pick up, be ready with orders already set together.

Never again.
