DAMAGED SHOES

I bought morning sleepers in April and after 2 weeks they were damaged..I sent them back to the Truworths store in Wonderpark they couldn’t assist They said they referred my query to Head Office but Head Office was the one who rejected my shoes So my question is how can Head Office refuse the shoes since they saw that the shoes did not even last for 3 months? Is now Truworths selling rejects?

Or are they saying I damaged those shoes by purpose? How did they assess it?How did they come up to that decision of not refunding?

Im sooo dissappointed in Truworths

Regards

Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to respond.

We have been in contact with management at the relevant store, who informed us that your return could not be authorised as it did not comply with the terms and conditions of our Returns Policy.

We confirm that the shoes in question were assessed in store, and then subsequently sent to our Quality Assurance Department for further evaluation. As communicated to you, the returns request was however declined, as the damage to the shoes was not as a result of a manufacturing defect.

We acknowledge your frustration and regret that you are not pleased with the outcome; however trust that you are able to accept our stance in this regard.

Yours sincerely,

Truworths Online Team
