Customer service of zero assistance and unwilling to escalate to resolve

I am receiving an account members sms's for their account (and did not give consent, I also doubt the account holder consented to a stranger receiving her account details).

I asked for my number to be removed and was met with a stu bborn & unwilling to assist customer service person- what is the point of a serivce desk who is unwilling/not skilled to assist in such a basic request?
