Customer LACK OF Service - would not recommend

I purchased a pair of pants the Truworths website in my size (I purchase from Truworths frequently, and for the last 20 years, and I know my size in Truworths), and they were way too big to be a true 34.

I now want to return my online order, so I checked your returns policy on their website (Truworths.com) and it stated that my first option was to return in store for free, and my second option was to return the item via courier for a fee of R60 which I am happy to pay as I do not have a Truworths near me.

I now have someone in the returns department arguing with me about the policy on their website, and refusing to process my return for collection. That is not how returns policies work. You don’t get to pick and choose which part of the policy to follow. If it’s published on your website as such, that is how is should be done.

I will never be shopping at Truworths again, and I will be encouraging everyone I know cut their losses and rather shop somewhere else.
