CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE HARRASMENT CASE 2
I am sick and tired of the process and I have gone down this road before. According to your records, I qualify for a Credit Limit Increase must be based on the EXCELLENT performance of my Account and my relationship with Truworths. However we I try to ACCEPT A CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE, you system gives me a decline based on MY INCOME AND EXPENSES.

Other retail houses have a different system they notify you that they have granted you that facility based on GOOD PERFORMANCE and you can turn down the offer.

It is embarrassing and humiliating for me to go through the process so I DON'T WANT ANY SMS'S, I DON'T WANT ANY E-MAILS AND i DON'T WANT AUTOMATIC VOICE MESSAGES IF YOU CANNOT DELIVER ON THE OFFER AND THEN THE CREDIT BUREAU GETS BLAMED.

GO TO THE CREDIT BUREAU BEFORE THEN.

I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER TO THE CONSUMER CREDIT AND OPEN A FILE OF HARRASMENT AS I AM TOTALLY ANNOYED THAT YOU ARE OFFERING ME SOMETHING THAT ACCORDING TO YOU I CANNOT AFFORD.
Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to clarify your concerns.
We have reviewed your account and established that the last credit limit offer was sent in December 2014. This was based on the fact that we consider you to be an excellent customer who manages her account responsibly.
We acknowledge your frustration in this regard; however wish to advise that as a credit granting company, we are obligated to ensure that we remain compliant with the requirements of the National Credit Act (NCA). We therefore, must check bureau credit expenses with each and every affordability assessment. We have established that your assessment failed on these grounds.
As you have indicated that you no longer wish to receive any credit increase offers we have temporarily opted you out for this benefit, however should you in future wish to receive offers of this kind again or, should your income or credit commitments change, please inform us and we will gladly assist.
Please feel free to contact us on *** or via email on ***.
Kind regards,
Lynn
