Covid Exchange

Received a Truworths shirt as a gift in July 2021, went to Vangate Mall this morning, to exchange it as it was to small , went to the till to be told that I 30 days in which to return it. So I explained , it was a gift, it was Covid and I had also contracted Covid. So I'm aware that the CPA gives you 30 days in which to return an item or request a refund. I did not want a refund , the shirt was a 42 and I needed a 44 , but NO, Truworths Vangate Manager says NO, I never wore the shirt, I had all the receipts , only to be told that there is a price difference . I did not want to be paid out, I wanted to exchange ,Truworths the person who gave me the gift paid for it already, you got your money..... Other companies under Covid extended the deadline but not Truworths, now you know why I wont shop there.
