Complaint Truworths Killarney Mall

Good day

I am writing this email to express my disappointment and disgust with Truworths Killarney Mall.

I have an account with Truworths for very long time now and disgusted at the way I was treated.

On the 7 Nov around 13h30 I went inside the store to try out a skirt that I wanted to purchase. While trying out the skirt, my husband dropped off the iterms we bought from Pick and Pay in the car.

After I tried the skirt I left the skirt back on the railing and wanted to wait outside the store for my husband. I wanted to wait for him so I can purchase the skirt when he comes back from the car.

As I was walking outside the store, your security guard asked me to see what I have inside my handbag very rudely. I asked him if he think if I stole something and his response was that it's just for security. I showed him what was inside my bag and waited outside for my husband.

While waiting outside I noticed other people comming out of the store. But I was quite annoyed and irritated that he did not check the handbags of the other people who left the store.

Truworths, I do not appreciate your staff treating me like ********. I am quite insulted by his actions. If checking handbags is for security, then all handbags should be checked for all customers that shop at Truworths.

I am DISAPPOINTED, DISSATISFIED, INSULTED and DISGUSTED with this incident. I am not a ******** and your staff do not have the authority to treat me like a ******** and THEIF.
