Complaint about Given in Truworths Brooklyn : embarrassing paying customers !

My account was paid up and I haven't used it for the longest time, who would have thought it was a bad thing ?

This kuik at Truworths whos name is Given, asks me for my licence and starts doing a security check for details I haven't updated, been requested to update, nor care to remember - got suspicious for a R190.00 belt ???

This ****hole embarrassed me in front of everyone in store because my account became dormant due to inactivity.

Ighsaan at Truworths call center, ***, logged my complaint, but never copied me in the mail - ref 89537 and my e-mail sent to complaints at Truworths doesn't go through, but he confirmed that if there was any suspicion, all the idiot had to do was phone them and confirm my details ...

This ****ing detective cites the POPI Act when I pulled out my phone to record - what about the Consumer Act when you are getting harassed ?

I basically had my licence, wallet and cellphone on the counter and this lawyer, Given, was still not satisfied ... you just can't believe how ****ed Truworths system is : I've had this account since 2009 - longer than this idiot is working there - yet he tells me that he couldn't confirm when the account was opened and how long I've maintained the account : even after he identified me with my drivers licence !

I demand that this **** is fired because you cannot treat longstanding customers this way - what a ****ing inconvenience because I'm a real bad ass *****ster - I'd make a *****ulent transaction for a R190,00 belt - please tell me how many customers that maxed out there cards and haven't paid R0.01 back purchased a belt or how many *****sters purchased a belt !

I was supposed to purchase the belt on Monday, 09 October 2023, at 13:45 but I was running out of time because I need to be back at work at 14:00, imagine how much **** this guy would have given me on Monday ...

Which by the way : has anyone purchased on account and these ****s at the counter ever asked you for your work number ? This **** was so hung up on my work number at Absa from 2013/14 and my postal address I closed years ago - which by the way I haven't received 1 voucher from Truworths in so long, it was the determining factor in me having no use for that ****ing post box !

By the way, I created an online profile - there is no field for me to update the **** this idiot asked me to give him so what was the point of that ? I am willing to bet it was just because I am Indian and this idiot thought I am going to take his **** without complaining - absolutely disgusted at Truworths staff pathetic treatment of long standing, paying customers !

If this Given **** isn't fired, please close my account - its ****ing paid up and I will never support anyone that harasses and humiliates people this way - its a pity the floor collapsed at Clicks in the early 2000's, I hope the floor collapses at Truworths in Brooklyn Mall soon, the disaster will be a true reflection of their ****ty treatment of their customers !
