Complain of a damaged Device

Complained for the purchase of a new cellphone from Truworths , bought a device on the 25th of June 2025 thereafter I noticed the device had an issue while I was transferring my data from other devices to the current bought from truworths immediately put on a security password on the phone after was not able to open the phone it just went off stopped charging, and not switching ON . Immediately took it back to the store on the 28-06-2025 for a return. And they confirmed it had an issue

Told I do not want the device as nothing happened to it. After the kept the device for about a month they got back to me and said it was a physical damage and they're refusing to take back the device. It is the second device I have bought from from them and had same issue that it just went off and phone being unable to use it or be fixed . I'm in need of serious help regarding this as I'm getting harassed that I should pay for my account for something that I did not use I need help please . Thank you.
