Colour change for Fossil watch within 6months
I bought a Fossil watch about 6 months for R2000. 00. Then colour started changing. I went to Truworths to complain about the colour changing. They said its because my body is acidic without any tests. I demanded a response from Fossil. They said they will call me regarding feedback. I waited and waited no phone calls. I then went to the store upon my arrival they told me that colour change is due to the fact that I sweat. While I hardly use that watch. They told me there is nothing they can do. If I want to complain I must talk to Fossil. When I demand to talk to the gentleman that was helping me at first he was forever on sick leave. I have no idea what to do with that watch.

We thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and affording us the opportunity to respond.
We were concerned to read of your query and therefore escalated this matter to the relevant management in store to assist. We were informed that the strap referred to in your post does not form part of the mechanism of the watch and therefore it is not covered under the warrantee.
This being said, on the day of your return the Floor Manager forwarded pictures of the watch to the supplier (Fossil). Their feedback is that the defect on the watch is not as a result of a manufacturing fault.
As you were not happy with their finding, Fossil has agreed assess your watch. As we have been unsuccessful in our attempts to contact you in this regard, we kindly request that you return to store, at your earliest convenience, so that your watch can be sent to Fossil.
