Collection on a settled account

My account was somehow handed over for collection to Nimble who calls me daily to pay an account that was already settled with them. I sent Nimble the document from their legal department (which i had to put up a fight to receive)confirmation the settlement but I was told that it's not sufficient and it proves nothing because the person who sent me this is either a **** or they didn't know what they are talking about
