Clarification

To whom it may concern. As a customer for so many years I belt my credit profile with Truworths...

One minute I have a Truworths account the next The Boss who calls the shorts closed my account, not even my husband who I am married to in community of property closees my account.

I seek clarity on what is going on with my truworths account. I was called by Simon who is the area manager in Truworths Vaal mall , who asked me about a transaction which was made a year ago... Now who remembers what happened a year ago? In anyways I told him I am coming to mall truworths to hear what this call is about since there is so much ***** going on, I was not comfortable with having a discussion with him over the phone, indeed I went to the store using my Time and Petrol which I was never reimbursed.

I was asked about return good of previous years that where returned, The only reason I went to the store is because he "Simon" kept calling me so I wanted to hear whats the problem. I never got clarity on what was really happening when i got there.

Suddenly today i went to the shop to purchase for my daughter graduation as i went to pay they said account is blocked. The gentleman who was helping called the head office to hear what is happening and they said, to him my card is closed because of ********** of missing items in the store, which i dont know of. What I want to know did I ***** from Truworths ? I would like to get clarity as a customer that when clothes are missing in the store is it the customer fault ? Is Truworths saying I am a theaf ? and what happened today is was embarrassing, beacause i really dont know what is going on. It feel like the store is accusing me of *****ing, actually am accused because of my account is closed. Who gave Simon the right to close my account ? Is the account under his name that he can do what he pleases? According to the POPI act which states (POPI Act sets out the minimum standards regarding accessing and ‘processing’ of any personal information belonging to another. The Act defines ‘processing’ as collecting, receiving, recording, organizing, retrieving, or the use, distribution or sharing of any such information). Was this act followed? and i need clarity and help please, because this is a SERIOUS DEFORMATION OF CHARACTER.
