CHARGING INTEREST ON PAID-UP ACCOUNT

Thank you for tending to my complaint and bringing my account up to date by allocating the monies that I paid by EFT during the lockdown on 3 April and 4 May, bringing my account to R0.00

However I am appalled to find that Truworths has been charging me interest on NON PAYMENT while MY money has been sitting in Truworth's account accumulating interest for the past few months.

You accountancy department is to blame for the inept way this matter was handled as I sent and resent my PROOF OF PAYMENT no less than four times: 8 MAY, 16 MAY, 19 MAY, 8 JUNE- the last two times form your store at Waterfall Mall Rustenburg!

The interest is for LATE PAYMENT. My account was paid up on 4 MAY already. SURELY I cannot be expected to pay the negligence of Truworth's staff, because they only NOW, after I contacted HelloPeter, processed the payment (which was, in fact, in you account all this time accumulating interest).

Please let me know ASAP how we can resolve this issue.
