Thank you for your post and allowing us the opportunity to attend to this matter for you.
We have investigated your concerns raised, and contacted the relevant store mentioned in your post.
As part of our Cell Phone Returns Procedure, once a problem is reported, it is compulsory that it be sent to MTN for assessment to determine the cause of the fault.
Your cell phone was indeed sent to MTN for a warrantee assessment, but was declined due to the condition of the handset. You were therefore informed that you will have to return to the store in order to sign a document authorizing the repair of the phone by MTN.
We are pleased to confirm that the cell phone was returned by MTN on 18 July 2015 and that it has been repaired.
We apologise for the delay on behalf of MTN and for any inconvenience caused as a result of this matter. We further trust that we were able to adequately attend to your concerns.
Should you have any other comments or suggestions, kindly contact us on ***, or send an e-mail to ***.
Yours sincerely,
Lynn
