Cash customers discriminated against when compared to account holders
<p>I simply asked a sales assistant at the Sandton City Truworths branch if they were able to obtain a different size garment from another store that had the size I was looking for and was told that it is only possible to offer that service to account customers!! </p> <p>When speaking with the less than attentive, rude manager on duty this was confirmed even when I questioned why account customers who are frequently in debt recieve greater services than a risk free cash customer, she had some poor excuse about the risk of loosing the garment in transit, though they do interbranch transfers almost daily and are quite able to request any garment for an account customer ... but she was so disinterested it wouldnt have mattered what I had asked her. Upon trying to call the store manager later, their phones just simply ring!!</p>

Whilst we acknowledge your frustration, we would like to further advice that the Fashion Delivery service is one of the benefits we offer to our account holders and is extremely beneficial. When an order is placed for the customer, it is then searched for and found. The item is then charged to the account and sent via a special delivery with the courier company and delivered accurately to the delivery destination of choice at an additional cost.
We assure you that all customers are important to us and we do not in any way prejudice against our cash Customer’s as we do value there contributions as well.
We once again would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused as a result of this matter, however trust that you will accept our stance in this regard.
