Being harassed by the call centre

I mistakenly short paid my account by R140 this month .

Once I was informed of the short payment , I immediately paid R200 toward the account .

Since then however , I have been harassed by your call centre to make arrangements for payment on the next installment (which is due 15 days from now) .

Why do I need to make payment arrangments on an amount that is NOT DUE YET ?

If you review my account , you will see that there hasnt been ANY short payments , or ANY NON-Payments on my account.

This constant harassment on me , a customer who makes purchases at your store often (which brings you a profit ) , and who diligently pays my account , by arrogant call centre agents who raise their voice at me when I am maintaining my calm , is not acceptable.

I could very well afford to pay that next installment now , but I won't.

Because that amount is NOT DUE YET.

Review your processes , and review the type of people you hire.

And teach your employees to think .

Thank you for your post.

When customers do not meet their payment commitments, various forms of communications are automatically generated as a preventative measure and a reminder to bring your account up to date and to ensure that your credit record remains in good standard.

We regret that these forms of communication were not received in the manner in which it was intended and sincerely apologise if you feel that our collections process was not handled correctly. We assure you that this matter will also be addressed with the relevant consultant.

We have tried to contact you on the number listed in your post as well as on your account; however, we were regrettably unsuccessful. We kindly request that you provide us with the proof of payment as EFT payments can take up to 5 working days to reflect and the payment is not reflecting on the account as yet.

Should you require any further assistance, please feel free to contact us on 021- *** or email *** and we will gladly assist.

Kind regards,

Truworths Online Team
