Being Contact So Many Times

On your response, again you charge interest on the full amount which is totally wrong. This should be charged only on the shortfall not paid, as the other amounts still fall in the 6 months interest free period, less the months that have passed already. So how can you charge for this. Ripping the consumer off, and the Bosses getting rich as usual. Believe me I was contact on weekends, so they do work on weekends. I don't accept your response. If you can see from my profile account, do I not make payment? The paying consumers are treated like trash. Truworths needs to get their house in order. How many times must I take your calls, is not one call sufficient, maybe your staff are not doing their jobs properly, that is why I am call 10 times a day, and must I repeat myself from the very 1st call I received to about 10 calls a day thereafter. I mean come on, just take a look on my profile, do you see more or less when payment is usually made each month, and analyse this? You need to become more professional in your approach.

Hello shafouch,

Thank you for your post and affording us the opportunity to clarify your concerns.

As stipulated in our credit agreement, interest is calculated on the daily balance owing on your account as of the previous billing cycle, of which you were advised of in our previous response. We confirm that your purchases were made on a 6 month interest free plan; however as the payment due was not received by the due date interest was charged to your account.

Further to this, we understand your frustration regarding the collections communication, however wish to verify that during the collections process no payment arrangement, to indicate the date and amount of when payment will be made, was confirmed by you and as such communication was generated, as a reminder of the status of your account.

We once again regret that you did not receive this communication for its intended purpose, however trust that you will be able to understand our stance in this regard.

Should you have any further concerns pertaining to this matter please contact us on *** or via email on ***.

Kind regards,

Lynn
