On 12 May 2023 at about 17h30 I received a call from a cellphone number. The person identified herself as Phumza and she said she's from truworths. She then told me to confirm my date of birth. I then asked her for proof that she's from truworths and she refused to provide any and insisted that I furnish her with details that she required. I tried suggesting that since she's from truworths then she'll have all my info so she must provide me with half of the digits on my ID number and I'll confirm the rest. There's lots of ****s done over phones. Big companies use mostly landlines.
