BAD STOCK
I have bought a pair of shoes for my husband a few months ago. Since it is court shoes he only wore it twice. The second time he wore it the heal of the boot came completely off. You can still see the shoes are brand new and he still have the box where the shoes came in. When we went to Truworths to exchange the shoes or get a refund we were told that they can not pick up the bar code on the system and therefore is unable to help us or refund us. Unfortunately I did not retain the slip and the just refuse to help us.

Our Returns Policy allows a return or an exchange on merchandise that presents with a potential quality issue, provided that the return is made within 6 months from the purchase date and all returns criteria are met.
As you were not in possession of the purchase docket at the time of your return to the store, you were correctly informed that a credit or exchange could not be authorized.
We regret that you are not pleased with the outcome of this matter as our customers are important to us and we sincerely hope that you will understand that this policy is in place for your protection, and ours.
