Bad service in Truworths Eloff street (JHB)

I would like to report a bad service I got from Truworths Eloff(JHB).. My brother bought clothes for his child, it happend that it reached the child late and found out that they small. My mother was send back when she went to exchange the size.

The card holder couldn't find time to go exchange. I went on his behalf and I was told to bring our IDs, today I went to the store with the IDs and card, I was turned back for the letter. I asked the cashier to put the items aside, I'll come back tomorrow. She told me to come before 9am, knowing that won't be possible.

My problem is that I was turned down,told that I can't return or exchange due to 30 days policy. Even though I explained the reasons. The manager just left me there and told that they do as she says.

All I'm asking is do we have to stay with clothes that don't fit a child and pay for staff that was never used? I ended up paying cash instead of exchanging.

The service from this store has made me close my account, because I had to go to Sandton to get a good service, which was costly and time consuming.

I'm really not happy with the attitude I got from the first cashier I talked to and the manager.
