Bad Service: Cellphone return/repairs

My brother took a cellphone on the truworths account. The locked and needed to be unlocked and there was nothing else wrong with the phone. After 2 months of being given the run around. They came back and said the phone screen is damaged and it needs to be replaced.

This is very disturbing as there was nothing wrong with the phone. The store completed a customer retruns form when the phone was taken in and there was nothing wrong with the phone. They sent a picture of the phone that is damaged and it was not my phone, it was not even the same color phone.

We received a quotation of R4000 to fix the phone which far exceeds the value of the phone itself.
