Bad service at Truworths Richards Bay

On the 28 of june 2021 i app**** for a Truworths account and it got approved, then on the 29 june i went complete the application at the store as per the sms that i was sent to me. Then when i get to the shop i informed them that im the to complete the application as per the sms i recieved from their accounts department, they then requested my ID of which i gave it to them and the supervisor refused to take my id based on the way it looks because im still using the green book id not the smart one, she then asked me whether do i have a drivers licence with me i then gave it to her and she told me she can not use it because it expired, i then left the shop to do a temporal ID, then came back on the 1st july 2021 and when i came there i was then told they dont allow temporal ID copies and thats their company policy, i then phoned their customer service which re iterated the same thing that every store has got its own policy and they cannot assist. But my issue here is that not long ago i used the very same ID copy to renew my bank card which had expired i was not given any hassles , secondly when i completed their application form online there is no where it is mentioned that they dont take green ID copies if they look old or temporal ID copies, thirdly homeaffirs is not issuing any smart ID copies till we are in stage and at the shop there was no disclaimer that says how should your ID look like if you come to their shop cause my ID was not even scanned and its not like i was applying for the first time i had their card before and paid off and closed. So my issue here as consumer who is gonna protect my credit score because now im forced to do another enquiry somewhere else because of one stupid policy which is not even mentioned before we even consider to support such company.
