Bad service and Management

I would like to warn all possible Truworths customers to avoid the Goldfields Welkom Branch! I would like to log a complaint with regards to service of the Goldfields Mall in Welkom Truworths. I went there to buy a eye shadow pallete, due to there rules I was not allowed to test the eye shadow not even on paper.... I Thought ok let me buy the pallete and see the consultant said that it would be great for my skin tone, well I opened and used the pallet and I am really not happy with the coulor it's way to dark for my skin tone. I phoned the manager at the store and explained to her what the problem was and she said I should talk to the representative of Revlon and she put me through to her she said sorry mam if it's opened she can not take it back or exchange it, now how do you test a product if you not allowed to due to there rules? Surely we have consumer rights? I am not happy about this and would like to be heard and recive a refund or an exchange. If I was the manager I would have resolved the issue not revert the customer to a representative, surley one of your duties of a Manager is to keep the client happy? I hope to get this matter resolved. This matter is just been ignored and nothing was done about it.
