BAD SERVICE
I just had the worst customer experience at Truworths in the Waterfront. I entered the store around 4pm on Sunday. I proceeded to purchase x2 packs of knit briefs and x1 3 pack socks. The lady at the till said I would not be able to change for a size, so my understanding is that it's not to be tried on ...she did not say that it cannot be returned UNUSED !!! OBVIOUSLY IT CANNOT BE TRIED ON.... After leaving the store, I met up with my husband for supper and a boat cruise. He saw the items purchased and was not happy that it was good for value. After supper I went back to the store, this was just before 7pm. I mentioned that my husband did not find value in the item. The two cashiers proceeded to do the exchange but then decided to just keep the manager informed. The 1st Manager came with a very bad attitude. The cashier and Manager then proceeded to talk in a language that I did not understand. I asked them both to speak English. Another Manager came and had the same mannerism, not dealing with me as a customer. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THEY WERE ABOUT TO ACTION THE EXCHANGE BUT THEN SUPERIORITY STEPPED IN TO BE DIFFICULT. I MEAN WHY SCAN THE 1ST ITEM TO CREDITED AND THEN CHANGE YOUR MIND? I took images of the items in-store showing that ALL the seals were intact! The items did not even make it to my house, in fact I did not leave the Waterfront AT ALL. I am entitled to have a change of heart if the item is too expensive and literally return with 2 HOURS of Purchase, THE VERY SAME DAY! I left the goods in-store and I DO NOT want it.... Your staff attitude is not great at all. Why agree to credit the items and then change your mind 2 mins later??? I HAVE THE IMAGES TO SHOW MERCHANDISE WITH ORIGINAL SEAL AND UNUSED!!!
The cashier then asked if they could call the Area Manager! I have had no satisfaction with customer service and still waiting on the Manager.
